Read Where You’ve Never Read Before

I’m not sure if I find myself only reading from the Young Adult section of the library because I’m a Youth Services Librarian, or simply because I can’t get enough of the great stories that cover those shelves.

Here are some great titles you should check out whether you’re 17 or 27 (like me!).

A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson

Feed by M.T. Anderson

Stardust by Neil Gaiman

The Giver by Lois Lowry

The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman

The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern’s Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure by William Goldman

The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett

Ophelia: A Novel by Lisa M. Klein
