What do you love best about the Library? Getting the newest books? Attending children’s programs? Socializing at a movie? Hearing a respected author speak?
In light of a recent opinion article in the AJC on the validity and necessity of public libraries (and their future), I offer a link from the State Library & Archives of Florida. This personal savings calculator was originally provided by the Massachusetts Library Association and has been adapted for use by numerous library systems. It’s a simplistic tool and it has its own critics, but it does give you something to think about.
