Advance voting for the General Primary began yesterday. It will run through Friday, July 11, 2008. There are several places that you can go to vote early and they are open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The Georgia General Primary will take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2008.

On July 15, 2008, polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The deadline to register to vote in this election has passed, but if you missed it, make sure to register now so you can vote in November. A printable voter registration application is available online or pick one up at any Library branch. If this is the first time you have registered in Georgia and you are registering by mail, please include a copy of your ID and current address as indicated on the application.
