With the election campaigns heating up, I wanted to remind everyone of these nonpartisan nonprofit websites that may help you cut through the rhetoric on both sides, and get to the truth.  Even though it’s a repeat of an old post, I think it has a new significance now that the main candidates have been decided:

• FactCheck.org – fact checks claims made by politicians
• Project Vote Smart – background checks, voting records, where candidates stand on issues, etc.
• Vote By Issue Quiz - find out which candidate you’re most aligned with, based on the issues only
